I bought four twenty dollar mouse pads before this, all the others really serve no purpse, the gel packs block my way the harder surfaces dont grab that well and it is worthless and a horrible waste of money. This mouse pad is the one im sticking with it grabs well looks good and its under 5 bucks!! This is a must for anyone. When it all comes down to it, all the fancy stuff serves no purpose and wastes alot of money. I purposely bought this for the thickness so this is very disappointing.The other Product Dimensions are wrong too. Amazon says 9.5 x 8 but it's really 9.125 x 7.875. How does this happen? Either they're sending us a different product than the advertised one or they don't know how to use a ruler. Either cause is bad. Update: I should have used the mouse pad before I reviewed it. Now I know it has a more serious flaw. The top surface is made of a soft fabric.
